Tuesday night at our meeting for St. Vincent de Paul we talked about how bleak Thanksgiving would be. You see even though we are a poor parish in the city we have plenty of support from our community. During the month of September our funds were down to nothing. At one point we had less than 45.00 dollars in the bank. After the meeting I went home and prayed that God would provide for us to give back to the community.
