Good day gentlemen. I look forward to growing in our Catholic faith together... So anybody have any ideas on prayer? Like how should we pray, when should we pray, does prayer matter?

Hello, thank you for providing this forum. I'm glad I joined during Lent. My Lenten commitment is to pray more frequently and fervently. I am a convert to the Church (4 years as of Easter), and I am amazed at the quality of the prayers offered by the Church and the saints!

When I was a Protestant, I struggled with how to pray and what to pray for. I was very busy, and joined a group of men to learn to pray better. One member of that group said he just didn't have time to pray. I suggested that he ask God for time to pray and grow closer to Him. It worked! This guy got up 30 minutes early, and prayed for other members of the group.

As a Catholic, my prayer life has grown stronger over the years. I love the Rosary and the Liturgy of the Hours. I also focus on reading the Daily Readings. I will add this group to my prayer list, and I ask that you would pray for me.

Thank you all for your prayers, and have a faith-filled prayerful Lent.
